GTA 5 Online: Importance of Gangs

You can join a gang in GTA Online, but is it really worth it? Find out in our latest video!

While Grand Theft Auto Online is the multiplayer addition to GTA 5, it can be played alone with relative ease. In fact, if you play alone, you’ll avoid some of the minor headaches associated with playing games online, and you’ll only miss out on a few of the activities… and of course playing with other human beings. However, if you have a gang or crew of friends backing you up, it becomes a much better experience.

Many of the multiplayer missions in GTA Online can be played by 8 players. Some can be played by more, others played by less, but 8 is the norm. It’s also fairly common to be divided into two teams and pitted against one another. In some cases one team will be protecting a target, while the other team is trying to take that target down. In other scenarios, it’s as straight forward as team death match.
