F1 2013 has officially been confirmed, and introduces a number of additions from last year’s release, such as rule changes for the official Formula One circuit and drivers Lewis Hamilton and Segio Perez.

A new mode, F1 Classics, is also being introduced, featuring classic cars and old-school circuits and racers that fans will love, taking place in the 1980s.

A premium version of the game, F1 2013: Classic Edition, is on the way, featuring 1990’s content and classic tracks.  Pricing hasn’t been revealed for this version yet, but we should know more soon.

The first gameplay footage was shown in the game’s debut trailer, where narrator and technical consultant Anthony Davidson walks you through the legendary Hungaroring circuit in Hungary.

F1 2013 will release October 8th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
