Next week, the Penny Arcade Expo – or PAX, for short – returns to Boston for its latest East incarnation, where developers will get together for panels, showcases and everything to celebrate the gaming community. But it’ll also be a place for independent game developers to shine, as the Indie Megabooth will be making a return as well.
The Megabooth, where players can hang out, try out new wares and talk to the minds behind them, will feature 62 games this time around, ranging from Drinkbox Studios’ PS3/PS Vita action game Guacamelee! to the oft-delayed (but coming soon) Wii U puzzle game Toki Tori 2 to Ska Studios’ long-awaited follow-up to the Dishwasher saga, the beat-em-up Charlie Murder. We’re making a stop at several booths and will have a full report following the show.
You can read more about the Indie Megabooth here. Check out trailers and plan your stops wisely. These guys want you to see their great games. And how.
