Xbox 360 isn’t running short on television streaming services with its support for Netflix, Hulu and HBO Go. But, as the great Bill Cosby once said about Jell-O, there’s always room for one more.
Microsoft today announced that Amazon Instant has been added to the growing Marketplace services, allowing users to access the service and watch their favorite films and shows with it. The app is available now under the Video Apps and can be downloaded for free. You will need to pay for programs but it’s worth checking out.
Amazon Instant provides “over 17,000 Prime Instant videos” and both Prime and non-Prime customers can purchase access to “a library of over 120,000 movies and TV episodes”. What’s more, the app works with the Xbox 360 Kinect so you can shout commands and use hand gestures that work with it. Put away that pesky remote!
