Halo 4: Crimson Map Pack Officially Drops Today On Xbox Live

Some folks might have trouble downloading, but keep at it…

We’ve been talking about the Halo 4 Crimson Map Pack for some time, breaking down the Achievements and explaining what’s going into the new maps.  But the time for talk is over, as Microsoft has officially released the Map Pack onto Xbox Live Marketplace.  You can get it for 800 Microsoft points ($9.99), or, if you already subscribe to the War Games Map Pass, it’s yours for free.

We have heard a few reports this morning about Map Pass subscribers who were having a bit of difficulty trying to get the Map Pack, but don’t fret, as 343 Industries has worked out most of the problems, and by the time you read this, you should be able to get them with hardly any trouble.

We’ll let you know how these maps fare in an upcoming article, and provide you a few extra strategies on how to stay alive.  Word of advice: don’t stand out in the open.  Keep moving.  Oh, and shoot stuff.

Halo 4 is available now for Xbox 360.
