With activities that include a virtual reality training course, a Pelican flight training simulator, a Covenant ship escape room experience and more, Microsoft and 343 Industries will immerse fans in the sci-fi game’s universe and lore.

“This lets us bring all aspects of the Halo universe to life in a real physical space,” said 343 Industries’ head of transmedia Kiki Wolfkill, speaking with GamesBeat. “We can bring the gameplay, characters, community, cosplayers for the fans over a weekend in both physical and virtual settings. We look at this as a celebration of Halo.”

The first event will take place in Orlando, Florida on the weekend of July 5. Halo: Outpost Discovery will then visit Philadelphia, Chicago, and Houston before concluding the tour in Anaheim, California the weekend of August 30.
