Hitman and Deus Ex Skins in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris

We already want to play Lara's new adventure, but should we pre-order through Steam or Amazon?

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is the official sequel to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, set to debut on PC, Xbox One and PS4 December 9th. Headlined by four-player co-op, Lara, treasure seeker Carter Bell and gods (yes, gods) Horus and Isis explore Egypt battling enemies, scoring loot and squaring off against an evil creature known as Set, who naturally wants to obliterate mankind.

Thus far, the game looks entertaining, and Square Enix made it more enticing with the annoucement of downloadable content and other exclusive items. First, you’ll be able to pick up a Gold Edition of the downloadable game at participating retailers. The bundle includes a three-inch Lara figurine, artbook, an Overworld map and the Season Pass. Keep in mind you can buy the Season Pass separately. This includes all future downloadable content (includes Icy Death and Twisted Gear packs) and costumes.

However, the Season Pass does not come with special pre-order DLC. Reserve the game through Steam to receive the Hitman Pack that includes special skins like the Silverballers and The Agent ring for increased weapon damage and more powerful bombs.

Pre-ordering through Amazon, on the other hand, grants access to Deus Ex pack, with unique skins and Adam Jensen’s famous combat rifle and Augment ring that reduces the cost of treasure chests 10 percent.

Finally, pre-ordering at GameStop results in the Lara Croft Legend Pack. As the name implies, you’ll get Tomb Raider Legend skins, along with a golden pistol and The Legend ring. The latter gives your chosen character health regeneration and a more powerful torch.

Decisions, decisions.
