Ever since its official reveal last year, Lost Planet 3 has been chugging along at a fine development pace, with the team at Spark Unlimited keeping the visualization of the previous games intact, while introduced a thrilling new perspective on the frozen action we’ve come to expect. And now we know when we can finally get our hands on it.
The sequel will be making its way to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on June 25th here in the U.S., and a few days later for the rest of the world. It’ll feature a great new single player mode, one that focuses on Jim Peyton, a guy who’s just trying to do his job, harvesting energy, so that he can get back to his family. However, when he discovers an underground faction living on the planet – as well as the real purpose behind what his company is doing – events shift into motion that have him fighting for his life. And not only is his employer a problem, but those nasty Akrid, an alien race living on E.D.N. III, are being a pain as well.
