Nintendo may not be talking much about the Wii U (at least, at the moment), but the company was more than happy to talk about the release schedule for upcoming games for the Nintendo 3DS and DS. It released a rough schedule for the rest of 2012, including games like Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask and Paper Mario: Sticker Star.
Unfortunately, there was no sign of the new Luigi’s Mansion 3DS game, suggesting that it may have been bumped into a 2013 release window. We’ll check in with Nintendo and see what they say.
In the meantime, you can expect Professor Layton on October 28th, followed by Paper Mario: Sticker Star on November 11th. Other notable releases include Angry Birds Trilogy (October), Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Illusion (November 18th), Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed (November 20th) and Rayman Origins (Q3).
Though we would’ve liked to have seen Luigi this year, at least we get some quality titles to choose from this holiday season. And don’t forget New Super Mario Bros. 2, which drops next week!
