Magic: The Gathering Arean, or MtG Arena for short, is a fantastic way to play the obscenely popular CCG. Even more so when you can get free stuff just for knowing the right words. That’s right, much like the treehouse of a seven-year-old, knowing the right words and putting them in the right order will get you into this exclusive club with some wonderful benefits.
These codes get announced through special events or new releases and are often announced on Twitter. If you don’t like the unique brand of existence that the notorious blue bird offers, then you can always find the codes and their effects here. Aren’t you lucky?
Card Style Codes
These are the ones that just give your cards a very special and shiny look. The kind of thing that in paper MtG would cost you a fortune, but here, on the internet, all you need to do is put in the code.
- STARTERSTYLES this code nets you the card style for Luminous Bonds, Divination, Doomed Dissenter, Viashno Pyromancer, Llanowar Elves, and Meteor Golem. You also get a special card sleeve. This one expires on July 2 2019.
- SuperScry gets you Opt until January 1, 2023.
- ParallaxPotion gets you Revitalize until January 1, 2023.
- FoilFungus gets you Deathbloom Thallid until January 1, 2023.
- ShinyGoblinPirate gets you Fanatical Firebrand until January 1, 2023.
- SparkleDruid gets you Druid of the Cowl until January 1, 2023.
Free Packs
Let’s be honest, this is what you’re here for. Each of these codes can be redeemed for cards in order to help build your collection. These are the big ones.
- PlayAllegiance gets you three Ravnica Allegiance packs until July 1, 2020.
- PlayRavnica gets you three Guilds of Ravnica packs until July 1, 2020.
- PlayWarSpark gets you three War of the Spark packs until July 1, 2020.
Physical Codes
If you buy the Planeswalker Decks from Guilds of Ravnica or Ravnica Allegiance then they will come complete with a unique code to redeem in Arena. This code gets you an exact copy of the deck digitally, which is a nice touch. This is worth doing if you are going to buy the decks anyway.
Twitch Prime Stuff
If you are a proud member of Twitch Prime then you can redeem an entire deck for MtG Arena that gives you an interesting Red/White shell to play around with. It even comes complete with Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice who does amazing work in this deck. You can redeem this through the Twitch rewards. In the event you have Amazon Prime, you can link up your Amazon and Twitch accounts in order to get Twitch Prime too, so don’t miss out on that. This is available until July 25, 2019.
