How to Register for Mortal Kombat 11 Stress Test

Find out how to register for the Mortal Kombat 11 stress test!

Gamers who like to “try before they buy” will likely be interested in learning how to register for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 Stress Test. When it comes to the main purpose behind the Stress Test, it’s to help developer NetherRealm Studios get a feel for any issues the game’s online services may have.

To do this, NetherRealm needs real players to use the game’s online services for a short period of time. Along with helping to ensure the game’s online servers are working as intended, the Stress Test has the added bonus of giving those who participate a small preview of the game prior to its release on April 23.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, head over to the Beta page on the official Mortal Kombat 11 website, click the “Register Now” option, then enter in the requested information as follows:

  • Select your desired platform (Xbox One or PlayStation 4).
  • Enter your PSN Gamertag ID or Xbox Gamertag ID.
  • Select your country of origin.
  • Enter a valid email address.

Agree to the terms of the Beta License Agreement, then tap “Submit” to complete your registration. Entry into the Stress Test is not guaranteed. If you’re accepted, you’ll receive a confirmation via the email address you provided during the registration process.

The Stress Test begins on March 15 at 7 a.m. (PST) or 10 a.m. (EST) and will run until March 17 at 11:59 p.m. (PST) or 3 a.m. (EST). The Stress Test is exclusive to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners in the United States, with no other Stress Tests planned for PC and Nintendo Switch platforms.

For those unable to participate in the Stress Test, there is another way to preview Mortal Kombat 11. However, this method requires you to pre-order a copy of Mortal Kombat 11. In doing so, you’ll be given access to the Pre-Order Closed Beta which is separate from the Stress Test.

The Pre-Order Closed Beta is scheduled to begin on March 28 and end on March 31. In addition to the Pre-Order Closed Beta, pre-ordering a copy of Mortal Kombat 11 will give you immediate access to Shao Khan.

Mortal Kombat 11 is scheduled to release on April 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
