NetherRealm Studios held an extensive gameplay reveal event for Mortal Kombat 11 on January 17, where they also revealed the contents of the Kollector’s Edition as well as pre-order bonuses for the game. The game is scheduled to release on April 23, which means there’s plenty of time to pre-order to receive beta access at the end of March.

Mortal Kombat 11 Pre-Order Bonuses

Although Shao Kahn is a confirmed character for Mortal Kombat 11, it's not without a catch. According to NetherRealm, players who pre-order Mortal Kombat 11 will unlock Shao Kahn as a playable character. Pre-ordering also grants access to the Mortal Kombat 11 Closed Beta, which will be available March 28 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Mortal Kombat 11 Kollector’s Edition

During the live MK11 event, NetherRealm also announced the contents of the Mortal Kombat Kollector’s Edition for those who want to get their hands on some exclusive goods. The Kollector’s Edition will feature an epic 1:1 scale Scorpion mask along with a premium copy of Mortal Kombat 11, an exclusive steelcase, and a magnet, all tucked into a special collector’s box.

MK11 Kollectors Edition

During the live stream, the developers mentioned that the Kollector’s Edition would be available for pre-order from Gamestop, but it doesn’t seem to be on the website yet at the time of this writing.

Aside from the Kollector’s Edition, Mortal Kombat 11 comes in Standard and Premium Editions as well, both of which are available for pre-order right now from various retailers. The Standard Edition costs $59.99 and features the pre-order bonuses listed above. The Premium Edition costs $99.99 and contains everything the Standard Edition has, but also includes a Kombat Pack, which typically contains early access to additional in-game character content.
