Ni No Kuni 2 consists of nine chapters. Some chapters are longer than others, and you may want to partake in some kingdom building or even grab some citizens along the way, but once you get to chapter 9 you know there isn’t much left. Of course there’s still more you can do after you complete the main story, but at the very least you’ll be done with the main portion of the game once you finish chapter 9.
How Long is Ni No Kuni 2

- Average Play: 40 Hours
- Speed Demon: 30 Hours
As an RPG, Ni No Kuni 2 is not a game you can finish quickly. Even if you try to speed through everything, you’re going to be spending at least 30 hours playing through the game. Most people are reporting the fastest completion times (outside of speed runners) at around 35 hours. Average players are clocking in at around 40 to 45 hours, while people who are taking their time and really soaking in the game are finishing up at around 60 hours.
It really depends on how you wish to play the game, but unless you’re speeding through it, expect to spend at least 35 to 40 hours with the game. You can extend your play time if you continue playing after you complete the final chapter of the game, but that’s totally up to you.
