Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge Will Be a Better Game Than the Original

Bloodier, packed with more DLC, and…we mentioned bloodier, right?

When Ninja Gaiden 3 was released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 earlier this year, I felt it was a pretty good action romp, but there are those who weren’t so pleased with what came with its release.  Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja, however, are definitely listening, and during their press conference at the Tokyo Game Show, they vowed to make the game experience right with their forthcoming Wii U game Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge.

During the press conference, the teams reiterated what we already saw at the Wii U Experience event – that Ninja Gaiden 3 will be much bloodier on the Wii U, complete with the ability to chop off body parts.  You’ll also be able to execute special attacks, such as dragon ninpo, with just a tap of the GamePad touch-screen.

Furthermore, the team is also working on fresh new DLC for the game, though they weren’t at liberty to announce what was coming yet.  Perhaps a playable Ayane…?  We’ll see.

Meanwhile, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge has been confirmed as a launch game, so we’ll see it on our shores November 18th.  Check out our preview for more details.
