Octopath Traveler is a stunning RPG experience from Square Enix build specifically for Nintendo's hybrid console, the Switch. Until this point, it was thought to stay a Nintendo Switch exclusive, but a new Korea's Game Rating and Administration Committee rating seems to point at a possible PC release.
Though the rating itself has since been removed, one keen-eyed ResetEra user managed to screengrab the sighting. The Korean Rating Board has been a pretty big giveaway for a lot of titles in the past, giving the latest rumor some viable merit (Sunset Overdrive for PC, anyone?).
According to the spotted rating, the possible PC port will be helmed by Bandai Namco, which is an interesting move for the beloved RPG. We've reached out to both Bandai and Square Enix for comment.
The move to make Octopath Traveler would be an amazing one, especially so since both Microsoft and Nintendo have been very vocal in recent months about bridging the gap between platforms. With Xbox and PC closer than ever before and the Nintendo Switch reportedly getting the Xbox Game Pass, a possible PC port seems more likely now than it has in the past.
For those that don't want to wait to see if this rumor proves true, Octopath Traveler is available now on Nintendo Switch. For more about the game:
