Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath HD Coming To PS Vita Next Week, Munch’s Oddysee Coming To PS3 Shortly After

Who says Oddworld Inhabitants isn't getting much action lately?

Ever since it came out for PlayStation 3 late last year, we’ve been enjoying the revival of Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath, given a high definition makeover by the good team at Just Add Water.  But their pairing with Oddworld Inhabitants’ Lorne Lanning doesn’t end there…

The company has announced that the PS Vita version of Stranger’s Wrath is due for release next week, on December 18th, for PlayStation Vita.  The game will cost $14.99, and will feature all the action of its big brother, as well as some possible exclusive new goodies.  We’ll check it out for sure.

Meanwhile, if you’re more of a fan of the traditional Oddworld games, you’ll definitely want to take a look at Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee, which is on the way to PlayStation 3.  The game will be releasing in Europe next week, though a U.S. release isn’t too far behind.  It’ll set you back $9.99.

We’re happy to see Oddworld’s legacy live on.  Now if only we could get Lanning to work on a new game…
