First off, Kim Swift, the creative mind behind Portal and the recently released Quantum Conundrum, is working with the latter game’s developer, Airtight Games, on a new project for the system.  Though details weren’t given on it, Kim did express her excitement: “We truly feel that this platform will give us the freedom to fully realize the funky, unique game we have in mind.  Though the title will definitely appeal to core gamers in terms of skill and difficulty, it really has a completely unexpected, imaginative slant that’s totally at home on this console.  Expect an official announcement soon!”

In addition, Minority Media, the team behind the PSN game Papo & Yo, is also had at work on a new adventure puzzle game for the system, with more details coming soon.

Two other projects have also been revealed: Tripwire Interactive’s first-person strategy game The Ball, and nWay’s ChoronoBlade, an action-RPG, will be coming to the system soon as well.

Finally, the team made a huge new addition to its roster – Kellee Santiago, co-founder of thatgamecompany, has jumped on board as the new head of developer relations.  Said Santiago about joining the team: “OUYA gets it.  This is the first console company that really understands how important it is to remove the barriers to development.  By freeing up the development process, OUYA is opening up new doors in console gaming.”

Oh, and one last bit of news – if you paid for a system through KickStarter, you’ll be getting yours soon, as they’re shipping out March 28th.  We’ve got one on the way, so stay tuned for updates!
