Zen Studios knows its pinball, as you can easily see in Zen Pinball 2 on PS Vita and PlayStation 3 and Pinball FX 2 for Xbox 360. We haven’t seen them do their magic on the Steam/PC front as of yet but all that changes next week when Pinball FX 2 makes its way to the marketplace.
Zen Studios has announced that the game package will be released on Steam starting May 10 with a number of tables available in packs that go for $9.99 apiece. These include Star Wars Pinball, Marvel Pinball, Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue, Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles, the Pinball FX 2 Core Collection and Zen Classics. The core game will be free of charge.
The Steam version will be compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and XP, and will also come with leaderboard support so you can challenge your friends.
We’re suckers for good pinball, especially Star Wars Pinball, I’m already lining up some tournament action for “May the 4th Be With You” so it’s good to see Pinball FX 2 finally make its way to the PC community.
