Who says you can only play as plants?

Ever since its introduction at E3 a couple of months ago, PopCap Games’ multiplayer shooter Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare has remained on our radar.

Today, PopCap revealed a new trailer for the game that introduces the playable zombie classes. There’s the soldier, armed with a Z1 assault blaster and a rocket launcher; the All-Star, a football playing zombie who’s well armored and uses a football cannon; the engineer zombie, who carries a concrete launcher and sonic blaster, but can also build secondary items like zombot turrets and zombie teleporters; and the scientists, who can create healing stations while taking out foes with a Zomboss goo blaster.

The multiplayer-only game looks better each time we see it – and we’ll have plenty of strategies lined up when it arrives for PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 early next year.
