How to Reload

Making sure your guns are always reloading is going to be extremely important if you hope to survive any type of conflict from other players. Now, thanks to the complex nature of PUBG’s core mechanics, some of the controls that the developers have had to set up will take quite a bit of getting used to, even for experience FPS players on the Xbox One.

To reload any weapon that you’re holding, you’re going to want to press and hold down the X button. This will reload the gun with any ammunition that you have in your inventory. Keep in mind that no weapons spawn with ammo in them, so if you didn’t pick up any ammunition when you grabbed the gun, then chances are you aren’t going to have much to work with right away.

How to Aim Down Sights

Now that you know how to reload in PUBG on Xbox One, let’s talk about aiming down sights. Often shortened to ADS, this means of aiming provides much more precise aiming for players, and can often allow you to hit targets that you couldn’t hit in the third-person mode.

Once you have your hands on a ranged weapon, such as a pistol or assault rifle, you can tap the Left Trigger to enter ADS. This will allow you a much greater precision for shots, allowing you to go after headshots and other precision-based attack types. You can also use scopes when using this mode, and you can press Up or Down on the D-Pad to adjust the range of the scope, allowing you to hit longer or shorter distance shots with more precision.

While aiming down sights you can also hold down the Left Bumper (just above the Left Trigger) to hold your breath, allowing you to more easily center your shots.

There are a lot of benefits to aiming down sights, and now that you know how to aim down sights, and how to reload, you should be able to stand on your own a bit better as you fight your way to be the last man standing in PUBG on Xbox One.
