EA Access Expands to PlayStation 4

The EA network grows, now coming to PlayStation.

EA has announced today that their EA Access client is officially expanding over into PlayStation 4 territory, which is great news considering it was previously a PC and Xbox One exclusive. For those that already have an existing membership, EA access will transfer over into the PlayStation camp. For those that don’t, it’s super easy to join.

“As we continue to invest in digital and subscription services, bringing great games to even more players across more platforms is an exciting opportunity for everyone,” said Matt Bilbey, Executive VP of Strategic Growth. “Our goal is to give players more choice to try and play our games wherever and however they choose, and we’re happy to bring EA Access to PlayStation 4.”

But what are some of the benefits of EA Access? Players will be given access to Play First trials where they can play up to 10 hours of the most recent EA games. They can play before anyone else as well as enjoy a 10% discount on all game purchases, including expansions and in-game items. Also, EA first-party games are included, so for those that enjoy staples like FIFA, Madden, and Star Wars Battlefront, it’s a solid subscription service to join in on.

To join, the monthly service costs $4.99, with an annual option for $24.99. EA Access is officially joining Team Blue in July with more details arrive during their EA Play showcase next month. You can learn more, and sign up, right here!
