After spending so many months on the Xbox Live service (as well as mobile devices), the HBO Go app will finally bring its programming to PlayStation systems.

The announcement was made at the Buzzfeed Brews event in New York City, where it was revealed that the app would arrive first on PlayStation 3, and should also make its way to PlayStation 4 a little while after. Exact dates weren't given, but the apps are expected to go live sometime this year.

Note: you will need to have a subscription to HBO through your cable or satellite provider in order to access HBO Go services. Considering such great programming as Game of Thrones and True Detective, however, most of you probably are already.

Happy viewing!
