Sony Computer Entertainment of America and Insomniac Games have finally confirmed the US release date for the forthcoming Ratchet & Clank HD Collection, which recently came out in Europe. (And yes, we imported it.) The collection, featuring Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal and Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, will hit stores on August 28th, for the low price of $29.99.
Furthermore, the collection will come with plenty of bonus features, including online play, 3D support and plenty of Trophies. But perhaps the best goodies of all are the ones exclusively packaged with the game.
First off, fans will get a special anniversary Avatar featuring Ratchet and Clank, so they can show their love for the series. But the real treat? First access to a new demo for the upcoming Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time. Players will marvel at the thieving antics of Cooper and his team, well before anyone on the PlayStation Network can get the demo. (This includes Plus subscribers.)
