Demo for Resident Evil 5 imminent

Announcement “relatively soon”

Jun Takeuchi, producer of Resident Evil 5 has revealed that Capcom will be making some kind of announcement on whether there’s to be a demo for the game soon, which we suspect means there could be one.

“We’ll be making an announcement about that relatively soon,” Takeuchi said when speaking to Eurogamer. Also, downloadable content is “possible”.

One slightly more clear statement from the producer informed us of the pleasing fact that we won’t be forced to install the game onto our console hard drives.

“We’re still working on those technical elements in the last couple of months, but we can tell you that if users are dissatisfied with that kind of thing, then it’s certainly something we keep in mind when we develop,” he said. “We’ll do our best to come up with something that users will not criticize, but love…”
