Box Office Mojo has revealed that another Resident Evil movie is on the way.

The film is currently being referred to as Resident Evil 5, but obviously this could, and probably will change. The film is set for release on 14th September 2012.
The film sets itself in place after the fourth of the series, Afterlife, and will be in 3D.
“Haters are gonna hate, but the franchise has its certain charms and I’m looking forward to what video game elements they decide to include in this new film,” jgonzo stated on the Capcom-Unity website.
Resident Evil 5’s release will mark the quickest wait between two films in the series. which are loosely based on the much-loved Capcom Zombie survival horror franchise.
