Tencent’s latest free-to-play battle royale game Ring of Elysium has been growing a steady following, mostly from PUBG players looking for another battle royale game on PC. Ring of Elysium also appears to be in closed beta testing, which means the game will continue to improve over time. The catch? Ring of Elysium is currently only available in Indonesia. However, since players have discovered a way to download and play ROE in English outside of its designated region, ROE has started to reach a broader audience of PC gamers. If you’re looking to play a free, realistic-looking battle royale shooter on PC, then Ring of Elysium may be worth checking out.

Formerly known as Europa, Ring of Elysium is a free-to-play, battle royale shooter that takes clear inspiration from games like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Ring of Elysium prides itself on offering crisp visuals with a day/night cycle and dynamic weather effects, which can altar the game’s performance on PC.
