It’s funny how all the classics are coming back these days – Duke Nukem Forever, Doom 3: BFG Edition, Wolfenstein, Shadow Warrior, etc. You can add one more to the stack, because it’s time for another to Rise.
Apogee and Interceptor Entertainment announced that the long-in-production first-person action game Rise of the Triad will arrive on PC July 31, available through Steam, GOG, Green Man Gaming and Apogee’s store. The game will sell for $14.99 and will also include the Apogee Throwback Pack for whoever pre-orders the game before its release, which consists of additional chapters like Dark War, the Extreme Rise of the Triad expansion pack, Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold and Blake Stone: Planet Strike.
The game features a meaty single player campaign, along with various multiplayer modes, a remixed soundtrack and a level editor.
