Slash, Bootsy Collins Jam Along To BandFuse: Rock Legends

Learn from the best, or rock less like the rest.

Even though the days of jamming on plastic instruments may be a thing of the past, real rock is still here to stay, and the developers behind the forthcoming BandFuse: Rock Legends are out to prove it.

This music simulation game, which takes a more realistic approach to learning instruments along the lines of what Ubisoft is doing with its Rocksmith series, has just signed on a trio of musical legends to help teach you the basics of your instrument, with three more to come in the months ahead.  Slash, of Guns n’ Roses and Velvet Revolver fame; Zakk Wylde, dependable guitarist for Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne; and P-Funk master Bootsy Collins have all signed on to provide tips for the game, helping you play along to the game’s 55 licensed songs, which include tracks from Maroon 5, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Five Finger Death Punch.

BandFuse will be coming your way this spring to both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.  We’ll have a preview soon.  Because, you know, that’s how Bootsy would want it.
