Nod to the old school FPS shooter Serious Sam 3: BFE will be arriving on the Xbox Live Arcade next week on Wednesday October 17th, Devolver Digital and Mastertronic have revealed.
BFE came out on PC last year to a good response, especially from the older fans, who’ve been starved in recent years of the kind of silly, bullet-happy run and gun action it delivers so well. The game will set you back a modest 1200 Microsoft Points.
The Serious Sam 3: Jewel of the Nile expansion packs extends the campaign, also adding multiplayer modes Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Last Team Standing and My Burden. It’s also priced at 1200 Microsoft Points.
If being bombarded by ridiculous and brutal monsters while firing seemingly endless rounds of ammunition into pyramids is your thing then it’s well worth a look, especially if you’re a gamer over 30. Check the trailer below; it’s just as stupid as the game itself.
