Keiji Inafune Revealed As Part of Team For Soul Sacrifice On PS Vita

Some familiar faces are being unveiled behind this upcoming Sony behemoth for PlayStation Vita.

A little while back, we unveiled first details on a super-secret PlayStation Vita project called Soul Sacrifice, with a reveal set to come in the following days that would show what Sony has in mind for the game.  Today thanks to Famitsu, we know a bit more about who’s behind it – and it’s a very familiar name.

Keiji Inafune, a former exec at Capcom, and the current Comcept/Intercept company leader, has been revealed as the lead planning the game alongside his Comcept team.  In addition, developer Marvelous AQL and composers Yasunori Mitsuda and Wataru Hokoyama are also on board for the project providing its epic score.

In the game, you’re able to utilize awesome magic spells to quell enormous beasts though you’ll have to Sacrifice something within you as payment for using them.  Objects are available for this but if you want to unleash the bigger spells, you’ll need to give up parts of your body (like an eye – ouch).  The game features an epic story that will be revealed at a later time, along with four-player opportunities for battle.

We’ll have more details in an official preview soon, so stay tuned!
