Bethesda first teased their upcoming Sci-Fi game, Starfield, during E3 2018, but has since been quiet about what the new IP will have to offer. While we wait for something a little more official, perhaps at E3 this year during Bethesda's showcase, one fan is taking matters into their own hands by making their own trailer for what Starfield could be.

The incredible video seen at the top of the article comes courtesy of YouTuber Skullzi TV, a growing name in the industry for his keen eye for detail and games as a business. His latest video is less of a deep dive and more of a passion project, and one thing is for sure: It's got us pumped.

The fan-made trailer showcases a sleek-looking vehicle carving its way through an abandoned world filled with feelings of neglect and failed promise. From the looks of the video, it's the player's task to get the vehicle's passenger to safety, creating the illusion of a game narrative that eventually leads to a foreboding facility. In true Bethesda fashion, the video ends on a bit of a cliff hanger, but the narration of the entire mini-project truly pushes this trailer into a feeling of reality and though it's not official by any means, it definitely amps up the excitement to see what Bethesda has coming down the pipeline.

As for when we'll get somethingn a little more official, it's possible we'll get to see something new for Starfield during E3 this year, though don't expect a release date anytime soon.

"Would it have been better if it was some years from now and we just go, 'Surprise, we're making a game called Starfield, and it's out X months later?' Yeah. For sure," admitted Pete Hines last year. "But at the same time, there is also value in every day between there people aren't freaking out about us making Fallout 76 as an online-only game as a service and this is all they're ever making."
