Super Mario Run Tips
Before we dive into the meat of our guide, we wanted to take a moment and offer some really helpful tips for players just getting started in Super Mario Run.
- Mario runs in a non-stop sprint. This means you won’t be able to take breaks once you start a level. Make sure you’re ready to complete each level before getting started.
- At certain instances in the levels you can redirect Mario to cause him to jump around in different directions.
- You can use a stall jump by tapping the screen and then moving your finger backward to slow Mario down.
- Toad Rally can be used to challenge friends and earn points for new items and characters.
- To unlock more elaborate items you will need to acquire a certain population of Toads in your kingdom.

Super Mario Run Price and Release Date
So, when exactly can you get your hands on Super Mario Run? Well, it really isn’t that far away at all. Set to release next week on iOS devices, players with an iPhone or iPad can pick up Super Mario Run starting December 15. Sadly, Android users looking forward to Super Mario Run will need to wait until sometime in 2017 for the game to release to the Google Play Store.
Once Super Mario Run releases on December 15, players will be able to dive into the game for free. However, there will only be 4 available levels in the game when using the free version. To unlock the additional levels, a total of which there are 24, you will have to pay $9.99 USD as a one-time charge.
Don’t worry, though, Super Mario Run does not include any other in-app purchases, and there is no big free-to-play scheme to worry about here. Once you’ve bought the game, you can replay each level and access the additional portions without any issues.
That’s all we know about Super Mario Run at this point in time. We’ll be updating this guide constantly with new guides and information once the game releases and we have a chance to dive into it headfirst.
