Earlier this month, we reported on the rumor that Sony was making a card-based adventure game for the PS Vita that ties in with Naughty Dog’s Uncharted universe. It sounded like a silly rumor, but, actually, it’s a game that’s on the way.
Sony confirmed today that Uncharted: Fight For Fortune will be coming to the Vita starting next month, in both retail and downloadable form. It’s an “action adventure turn-based card game,” according to the description.
How does the gameplay work? Here’s an excerpt from the company…
“The core gameplay in Uncharted: Fight For Fortune involves creating a team of Faction cards featuring heroes, villains and mercenaries from the Uncharted universe, then using that team to defeat your opponent while defending yourself from their attacks.”
We’re not so sure what prompted the publisher to go with a card game, rather than another action game along the lines of Golden Abyss, but we’re interested in trying it out anyway.
