Sony Shutting Down White Knight Chronicles Servers In June

RPG fans, the party's just about over.

If you’re a fan of White Knight Chronicles and can’t get enough of playing online, we’ve got bad news.

Both Sony Computer Entertainment America (publishers of the original game) and D3 Publisher (publishers of White Knight Chronicles II) have announced that they will be shutting down their respective online servers for the game.  They’re expected to be shut down on June 18th, shortly after the conclusion of E3.

No reason was given for the shutdown of the servers, but it looks like room is being made for future titles (not necessarily WKC games) to take up space.

It’s a shame, but at least you have a few precious weeks to make some new friends and go on some last-minute missions with them, right?

White Knight Chronicles I and II are available now for PlayStation 3.
