The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a massive adventure brought to you by CD Projekt Red. There are a slew of main quests, as well as a plethora of secondary quests, which feature standard fetch quests, contracts to kill specific enemies, scavenger hunts, and more. While The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt released earlier this year, with the DLC and the holidays there are a lot of people just now starting to dig into the game. To help you start your journey off right, we’ve compiled a few quick tips!
Secondary Quests - No matter how quickly you may or may not want to burn through the game, you'll have to complete at least some of the side quests in order to level up enough to get through the main quests. If you happen across a random secondary quest, it’s usually best to partake.
Money - It’s important to earn money in any way you can. You can earn money by completing quests, winning Gwent matches and performing other various tasks. Spend your money wisely because it can be difficult to come by, especially early on.
Save Often - Save your progress before starting any new quests so that you can go back to that save point if the quest is too difficult for you to complete, or you make a bad decision.
Quest Levels - There's a recommended player level listed in the quest information section. Hold off on attempting any quests more than five levels below your current level because you won’t get nearly as many experience points.
Monster Levels - If a monster is more than five levels above your current level, you'll get an experience bonus if you defeat it. However, if a monster is more than five levels below you, your experience will be much lower.
