Ever since its reveal at PAX East in Boston earlier this year, fans have been wondering when they’ll get their hands on Capcom’s DuckTales Remastered. Today, the company delivered its answer – soon.
The HD remake of the NES classic will arrive on PC, Wii U and PlayStation 3 August 13th, but Xbox Live subscribers will have to wait until September 11th to play the game, due to the Summer of Arcade program.
In addition, Capcom is launching a special retail version of the game for PlayStation 3 that will come with a collector’s case, a download code for the game and a pin. You’ll be able to pick this up for $19.99. The game by itself will sell for $14.99.
To help celebrate the game’s forthcoming release, developer WayForward recently unveiled a new web series called Duckumentaries that goes behind the scenes.
